Readily Biodegradable
Biodegradable oils and fluids are generally considered ‘Readily Biodegradable’ meaning that at least 60% of the original material will degrade back to their constituent parts, when in contact with water, sunlight and microbial activity, within 28 days, ensuring decreased spill risk.
Superior Performance
Biobased base oils offer higher lubricity and higher viscosity than traditional petroleum based oils and fluids ensuring lower tool wear, higher heat dissipation and lower friction. These factors decrease expenses by enabling longer life for mechanical and tool parts.
Non-Toxicity
Biodegradable, biobased oils are free from harmful substances that may impose a risk to human or animal health. This ensures that any operations where a spill may occur, in a wetland for example, is safe for the environment and any spill can decrease or negate harmful effects on the environment.

Federal Purchasing Requirements.
+ The United States Department of Agriculture, the lead agency for BioBased program and Congressional informer of repeating Farm Bills, passed in 2002, 2008, and 2014 established a biobased product program to increase the purchase, and specific percentages of biobased content base federal use of products. More specifically, the Farm Bill established Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, which contains requirements for Federal and Federal Contracting purchasing.
+ The USDA’s program identifies products that have been selected for ‘Preferred Federal Purchasing’, the program identifies and describes products that have been independent, third-party, laboratory tested with established percentages of Biobased content.

In today’s environmentally conscious world, the demand for sustainable and eco-friendly products is at an all-time high. Biobased products, derived from plants and other renewable agricultural, marine, and forestry materials, are leading the charge in this green revolution. These products offer a plethora of advantages over traditional petroleum-based goods, making them a focal point for consumers, businesses, and policymakers alike. Below, we delve into the myriad benefits of using biobased products, providing valuable insights for your SEO-based article. 1. Environmental Sustainability Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions Biobased products play a significant role in combating climate change. Plants absorb carbon dioxide (CO₂) from the atmosphere during photosynthesis. When these plants are used to make biobased products, the carbon is stored within the product itself, effectively reducing the amount of CO₂ in the atmosphere. This carbon sequestration leads to a net reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, mitigating the effects of global warming. Decreased Reliance on Non-Renewable Resources Traditional products often rely on fossil fuels, which are finite and contribute to environmental degradation. Biobased products, on the other hand, are made from renewable resources that can be replenished over time. This shift reduces our dependence on non-renewable resources like oil and gas, promoting […]

Why Biodegradable Fluids Are Superior to Petroleum-Based Alternatives
The shift towards more sustainable and eco-friendly materials is gaining momentum in industries ranging from manufacturing to transportation. Among these innovations, biodegradable fluids stand out as a better alternative to traditional petroleum-based products. These fluids, derived from renewable resources such as vegetable oils, offer significant environmental, economic, and performance benefits that make them a preferable choice over petroleum-based fluids. In this article, we will explore why biodegradable fluids are not only more sustainable but also superior in various practical applications. 1. Environmental Impact One of the most significant advantages of biodegradable fluids is their reduced environmental footprint. Unlike petroleum-based fluids, which are notorious for contributing to pollution, biodegradation offers a cleaner alternative. When petroleum products spill or leak into the environment, they pose long-lasting damage to ecosystems, affecting soil, water bodies, and wildlife. The slow degradation process of petroleum can lead to contamination that persists for decades. Biodegradable fluids, on the other hand, break down into natural, non-toxic substances when exposed to the environment. This rapid breakdown minimizes the risk of long-term ecological damage. For instance, biodegradable hydraulic fluids made from vegetable oils degrade significantly faster than their petroleum counterparts. This means that accidental spills, which are inevitable in industries […]

Benefits of BioBased Lubricants
Biobased lubricants are a new alternative to traditional petroleum-based lubricants and have become increasingly popular due to their potential to reduce costs and environmental impact while providing high lubricity. These biobased products are made from renewable resources like vegetable oils or other bio-based raw materials, which make them a more sustainable option for companies and individuals looking to reduce their carbon footprint. One of the main benefits of biobased lubricants is that they can cut user costs. Traditional petroleum-based lubricants are made from a finite resource, crude oil, subject to price fluctuations and scarcity. In contrast, biobased lubricants are made from renewable resources, meaning their supply is less subject to price fluctuations and more stable over the long term. This stability can result in more consistent pricing and cost savings for customers. Another advantage of biobased lubricants is their lower environmental impact. Traditional petroleum-based lubricants can contain harmful chemicals and contaminants that can harm the environment if improperly disposed of. On the other hand, biobased lubricants are made from natural materials that are biodegradable and do not pose the same level of risk to the environment. This means they are a better option for companies and individuals looking to reduce […]
